[MOPO] Flat Files lining

So,  via CRAIG'S LIST I got a GREAT  deal on some used flat  files.      They are decent shape and clean on the inside.  The outside are beat up,  but who cares.    Here is my question for MOPO.

 

Do you put any sort of lining paper on the inside of these drawers?    How many posters do you put in a drawer?   Is there some sort of special paint you can use on the outside to clean them up?
