I look forward to buying this book and thanks for bringing it to the
list's attention.
However, I take issue with your assessment of the Nourmand / Marsh
books as "ridiculous." Those are beautiful,
well thought-out books. I own them all, and recommend them to anyone
interested in film posters. MovieArt now has a
library of over 200 books and auction catalogs of movie posters.

I have just got my copy of British Film Posters An Illustrated
History by Sim Brannigan.
It is one of the best records and historys of film posters. An
exhaustivley researched tome that is neede on any collector
remotely interested in British posters.
Seriously you will be doing yourself an injustice if you do not get
this book. Forget all those ridiculous Posters of each decade, this
is the book.
