I think the fun is the last minute/second bidding. The day before I might have
$200 in bids on my auctions. Minutes before they all end - $300. After they
are over - $1,100. Now that's fun!

personally am a big fan of sniping and usually always do that for
things I want to win. On the other hand, the consistent lack of
ongoing bidding during the length of an auction's run take a lot of the
fun out of the whole process. Anybody agree with me on that? Do you
think EBAY might ever consider making their site "snipe-proof?"
