David Chandelier bidding is nothing more than the auctioneer raising the bid up to the reserve price without announcing it. He is looking at the audience and makes believe that he actually has someone in the audience bidding when in reality only the chandelier is bidding. It is far from complicated and takes place at most auctions in the east that I have attended. All you have to do is sit in the back and you can see what is going on. Claude
