TRUE story.... My son comes over.....last night.. TUES about 11:30 PM we are making lifesize manniquins for a display at the Toledo Firefighters museum as a side project.. because Tommy likes to make props for films.. these will be used to sit in Old fire trucks from 1950s and a steam powered hore drawn pumper from the 1890s...

so i ask Tommy whats this Donnie Darko film about? and he says Time Travel and all disjointed stuff........ Ironically I have a Item up on ebay currently that looks like it came from HG wells Time machine,,, a lantern stage coach thats a transistor radio... in my mind.. I see it as a Movie prop in a Time machine movie,, see ebay seller id - Dreamfactory

when I told him I thought it was a Johnny depp film he said ohh you mean Donnie Brasko...

so we laughed ,,, Brasko Darko... so what? and then I said wouldnt that be funny if the Darko people bought my transistor radio off ebay as a plot in the film...

well It would be a Movie 1st as far as I know to involve real time with made up time... in a film script...

wierd eh??? I think ive finally out dont my own mind as far as potential possibilities I didnt even try...

this all has been happening by random coinsidence OR is it?????? wheres Rod Serling when you need him :))))

see the wierd hg wells radio on ebay... its starnger than fiction - trust me

Tom, I ran into Jimmy Duvall who was in the film at the Fangoria Convention. We were talking about how Donnie Darko still has a strong following. It certainly was evident at the Fangoria convention.

well Toochis - nice idea!! they said they may consider me to make wrap gifts to give to the cast and crew..there are 100 !.

The other day i did a job for Bronx college in NYC and they sent me a Pic of actor Chaz Palmieri holding

a clapper that I made for them as they give them to film students.. he was in BRONX tale with Deniro

and whats funny was I did a Movie reel clock for warner bros =- savoy films and they ordered 15,000 to give away in the video release.. It was one of my largest gigs ever... I also did " Guilty by suspicion" Deniro film clapper clock...

I think maybe the Mob likes me... :) I seem to do lots of Italian films... well I am part Italian
and my ex was part Siscilian.

anything can happen...:) but if i did get a huge order now I would probably would be hypmotized

thanks Toochis!
best, Tom

..

It's a very popular film. Is there a way you or your son could somehow put the sale info on Youtube or something like that? This film has a huge following.

well if anyone liked the Donnie Darko film -( one of my sons faves )

I received a call from the sound man on part two- Donnie Darko and they bought a Time code clapper slate (they start shooting wed). from me to be used on the film... it was quite a honor to be awakened by a call from a production company... I am a authorised dealer of DENECKE TIME CODE SLATES and I offer a great deal as I include some free extra Hollywood dream factory® items and a great discount and have them sent factory direct with FULL limited warrantty...Denecke wom a Academy award® for tecnical achievement

anyways I thought id share that as its movie related and perhaps some other Movie people on the list will buy these from me and help support a lunatic in Toledo.. Thanks! my special deal is $1,155.00 + shipping
they are normally retail 1295.00

Only problem was I thought it was a Johnny Depp film.....Gos to show what I know....

I think I need to have IMDB hard wired into my brain

well ay least I didnt think it was a Julie Andrews Flick.....

oivey.......:) Tom
