K, CK, I'd say that at the very least, HAROLD AND MAUDE is a great cult fave so let me clarify as there is no need to get into an argument over what is 'great' or not. I really wanted to get everyone's take on how badly the studios or filmmakers can drop the ball on the Ad Art when the film certainly could have benefitted from a better artistic effort. So how about:

What is The Worst 1 Sheet Art For A Film YOU Consider to be Great?

That way no one needs to justify their choice...unless you choose BEAST OF HAUNTED CAVE then you might get punished (then again, the art is pretty sexy/goofy cool on that one).

it belongs in the top 1,000. If you're going to include films of that
quality, then there would be many, many other valid candidates for
relatively crappiest 1-sheet.

Not even close!

"Harold and Maude" is the hands down winner in this category.

The Little Foxes One sheet ..... posterart doesn't even resemble Bette Davis with a runner-up to the Other Company Jezebel One sheet in which Bette's dress is printed in yellow (the wrong color and a key scene in the film). Third runner-up goes to the African Queen One Sheet in which
the graphic doesn't look like Kate. And lastly any of the paper
(excluding lobby cards) from To Kill A Mockingbird which commits the
cardinal sin of being just plain boring. FRANC
