I really get into the storys, or legends and myths of the

Creator/artist  or " the Back story"  as its amazeing what you find out.

For instance last week I was at the Henry Ford museum  and

I heard that when employees pained a model -T car RED for

Henry Ford he went into a rage and ripped the car apart.

Co-Developed FOX INTERNET AUCTION SITE to sell ANNA AND THE KING Archival materials generated through Archive Asset Tracking Program. Co-Developed and Implemented Publicity and Promotional launch for site and Continuing Internet Sales Program.

Curated, Supported Design, Co-Produced and Installed first 20th Century Fox Museum, HALL OF COOL STUFF, for Fox Studios Australia Backlot Tour. Supported development of TITANIC ATTRACTION, STAR DRESSING ROOM and other attractions and destinations on FSA Backlot Tour.

Developed Fox Archive Digital Database program to receive International Award for ADVANCEMENT OF DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY IN HOLLYWOOD STUDIO SYSTEM.

Developed first FOX ARCHIVES LOGO LICENSING PROGRAM with Fox Consumer Products.

Promoted development of FIRST FOX NON-THEATRICAL CLASSIC FILM RELEASE PROGRAM for airline exhibition. Developed highly publicized J. Peterman Catalog sales of Titanic Archival assets to both promote release and generate funds to reduce negative cost.

Directed TITANIC Asset Harvest. Served as liaison for Lightstorm, Paramount and Fox for Domestic and International promotional activities utilizing Archival assets. Organized and implemented over 80 world-wide exhibitions of Fox materials including the largest Planet Hollywood promotion on record. Developed with Fox Themed Entertainment a travelling tour of TITANIC assets licensed to Paramount Theme Parks and a 3-Year International Tour of TITANIC materials.

Initiated cooperative programs with International Sister Archives to locate Fox assets and elements and promote Fox History and Icons on world-wide basis. Promoted 10 day Fox Program at Pordenone Silent Film Festival; 6 month Fox program at the Cinematheque Francais ; and various presentations for the Berlin Film Festival. Developed International Intern Program with Billy Wilder Institute, Germany.

DIRECTOR OF ARCHIVES

Developed FRANCIS RICHARDSON RESEARCH LIBRARY into full-service, Feature and Television Production resource that operated at no cost to all Fox Production. Researched and instituted classical production research systems.

Founded 20TH CENTURY FOX PHOTO STILL COLLECTION to foster partnership with UCLA to preserve, organize and exploit 7 1/2 million image collection. Generated program to develop title key sets, talent key sets and studio history key sets. Began inventory of UCLA collection.

Consulted in long-term development of BACKLOT TOUR and CLASSIC MERCHANDISING for Fox Studios Australia.

Promoted history and icons of studio into FOX CLASSICS MERCHANDISING PROGRAM. Developed 2 hour special for QVC to launch Classic Fox Collectibles in marketplace.

Produced and Curated first Fox Archive travelling memorabilia exhibition, SFX HOLLYWOOD, to travel Japan market is support of International Video release of INDEPENDENCE DAY. Initiated on-going program utilizing Archival materials as promotional prizes to support Domestic and International Film, Video and Product release.



   ARCHIVIST


FOUNDED 20TH CENTURY FOX ARCHIVES. Developed asset tracking system for Feature Production. DEVELOPED FOX FILM POSTER ARCHIVE AND FOX WARDROBE GOLD ROOM ARCHIVE. Generated communication links between Feature Production, Licensing and Merchandising and Studio Operations. Developed partnership with Planet Hollywood to fund and pay storage on large scale harvests of Archival assets from Fox Features. Program accounted for the saving of $5-10 million of Archival assets at no cost to studio, while at same time promoting films in distribution. Program became industry-wide prototype for large-scale material collection and distribution.

Supported development of FOX MUSIC'S CLASSIC FILM SCORE COLLECTION, as well as dozens of AMC and Arts and Entertainment Network Biographies, Specials and Fox History programs.

PRODUCTION CONSULTANT

Reported to Jon Landau, Head of Physical Production, 20th Century Fox. Created inventory of undervalued and under-utilized production assets. DEVELOPED STUDIO-WIDE PROGRAM TO PRESERVE, ORGANIZE AND EXPLOIT ARCHIVAL MATERIALS.

Developed file database on Fox stars, employees and films.
