Hmmmmm, sounds like a VERY Seller Friendly atmosphere is reaching
it's zenith at Ebay. Anyone ever give any thought to a 'master plan'
of pushing all Sellers to other venues so a more 'natural' genesis of
Ebay becoming a retail Buy It Now/No Auction site finally becomes a
reality? Just curious what the end game of these 'improvements' will
be.
I also wonder what Ebay will force Seller's into next until the straw
that broke the Seller's back is pulled...this is clearly not a
balanced site anymore by any means. And imbalance is a recipe for,
well, a not so tasty cake.

Just as a follow up, I called EBAY and got through this morning.
They basically advised me that even though I may have glowing and
positive written feedback, the buyers may have still given me some
negative point rating on shipping charges. This would lower my
search standing. Also, there is zero transparency as to who, what
and where created the negative rating. I asked him point blank if
I should just go to free shipping and include it in the sale price
and he said YES! Of course, this gives EBAY a commission on an
extra 5 - 20% of the total sale. They really do suck!
