This is one of the few years when I found all the nominees in the acting
categories to be outstanding. Sean Penn was my first choice, but I would have
prefered a tie between Kate Winslet and Angelina Jolie. Also would have
prefered a tie between Amy Adams and Viola Davis. Liked Phillip Seymour
Hoffman's performance far more than Heath Ledger's. But then again, could have
been the movie itself.
Not thrilled with Slumdog Millionaire. I always found the TV show "Who Wants
to be a Millionaire" very boring with a lot of wasted time. Saw the same in
the movie.
