- Carl Reiner in The Russians Are Coming

- Maureen Stapleton as the suicide threatening mother of mama's boy Dick Van
Dyke, in the above mentioned Bye Bye Birdie

- Jeffrey Jones and Catherine O'Hara as Winona Ryder's parents in Beetlejuice.
I mean, their dance number at the dinner table, to Belafonte's Day O, was one
of the funniest things in movie history!

- James Stewart in Mr. Hobb's Takes a Vacation

- and last but not least, the unforgettable portrayal of John Candy, as the
ultimate klutz, in Summer Rentals.
