Sorry, Rich, but you're completely wrong. Style A is worth $2,000.

Someone who knows a jillion times more than you, The Antiques Roadshow, said so, so it must be so.

You should become more educated like they have, so you don't make more of these embarassing errors.

there are enough SW collectors to keep prices affloat
and Style A sells for between $125-350 depending on condition and printing
a first printing would probably go higher

I used to be a HUGE SW collector. I have since sold everything but a few favorites. I bought my first SW style A back in the mid 80's and I seem to remember that it cost me $100 then. There are sooo many variations/printings/etc and yet the value of style A is roughly the same. However, some sellers manage to get quite a bit more now and then. The seller Mrs. Miniver has some pretty astronomical prices on various A's that never sell and that he continues to relist. There are never a shortage of these posters- not even the earliest printings. They are everywhere. I keep a saved search that emails me almost daily with star wars posters. Ever since the arrival of Ebay I have wondered why the value of the SW posters hasn't gone down considerably. There are bunches and bunches of these posters. Even the mylar and birthday posters show up with some consistency. I don't think I have a question in mind. I just find it interesting that the prices are all over the place and when I look at the completed auctions- generally the style A goes between $100-$200 (keeping in mind: condition-folded rolled etc - although there doesn't seem to be a shortage of A's in all of those conditions either).
Any thoughts?
