I totally agree with you Franc.
While there were a couple of shows there at the end where the dealers might
outnumber the customers, I always loved that show as you can count on Morrie to
put together a nice experience and a quality auction.
Maybe if he were to send out some of those postcards and get the word out about
his show he could try again?
It really is sad that that the biggest city in the country can't host even one
successful poster show.

There was advance publicity for this show........but it happened in June at
which time it was announced that Farley Granger was going to be at the show
signing autographs. I just got a cheap-ass postcard in the mail, the sort that
not even my dentist would send out and it makes no mention of Granger or much
else for that matter. The people running this one are the same people who ran
that show in the Holy Cross Church on 43rd Street and if you've been to one of
these shows, you wouldn't be asking the question about swiftness. I'm glad
Morris sent out his own e-mail. At least I know the show won't be a total
waste.

I heard about this show yesterday from one of my collector friends. Why
hasn't there been:
1. Advance publicity
2. A list of dealers attending
Whoever is running this is not swift unless he or she want no attendance.
The admission is $10 but $5 if you wear a costume. This is as weird as it gets.
This last minute information makes no sense.
In any case, a few of us are going. If you are going please email me
tonight if you want to meet there.
