MOpo _ I received several comments about my comments from Friend on MOPO.
I thought about it and reflected and I was Out of line.. so I wish to
retract my comments and apologize
to the promoters and Lucas..
I think I was just frustrated because we were there and tried to make a
deal and even offered to help trade labor
to load the trucks and all and we were rejected.
I wguess it could be looked at like we were asked for special
treatment.,,,, and I guess it just seemed so
close. ..
I also considered I had spent 1000 on a frivolous thing several months
prior.. so That was more foolish.
I think what has happened is that the demographics for Star wars are
like mostly under 40 crowd and Kids.
And that Group seeme tapped out for the ability to buy 55-75 tickets
unless its a Rock show.
Goin to hear London Philharmonic may be geared to 40+ group.. Like me.:)
However even movie tickets over 10.00 are frowned on and its a month
away from Christmas and the economy...
However the show promoters put a lot at risk to do this and expences to
house peopel travel and 14 semis of gear..
So they suffered more then us ... and should get credit for there work...
so Sorry Lucas.. I was wrong and hope the shows do better then Toledo did...
Maybe some day we will get to see it in future and it sounded like a it
would be great..
Just was disappointed my son didnt get to see it
best to everyone.
