MessageI don't mind reminder notices about auctions ending, but the shorter the
better and perhaps highlighting a few choice items or items that
are still sitting at the low end.

Too much verbiage just gets ignored, however.

Anyone not happy with anyone posts (via the email format) can just auto-send
their incomings to the Deleted Items folder.

I think one original notice plus one reminder is fine. More than that becomes
spam and people stop reading the e-mails which defeats the whole purpose of
marketing this way. FRANC

I don't think you send out too many.
the past week I've been overkill, but that's because of the great auction
running & my responsibility to get max for my consignor

but your posts are too long with too many things to read and that's also
what I hear from other people who have tell me they've stopped reading your
emails because of their girth
I only scan it very quickly - if I have time - or I look specifically for
your coming auction list (so we don't have that same coinkidink we had on the
russian posters)

also, because of your email format, it all blends in to each other & it
also makes it harder to read

so I say you don't do "too much" emailing, but you are doing "too much"
writing

I would like to get feedback from those members of MoPo who actually bid
in my auctions, not those who do not bid.

When I had one set of auctions per week, I would send a "FA" e-mail the
morning after they started, and then another the morning they were closing (
two total per week).

When I had two sets of auctions per week, I would send a "FA" e-mail the
morning after both had started, and then another one the morning the first set
was closing, and another one the morning the second set was closing (three
total per week).

Now that I have three sets of auctions per week, I send a "FA" e-mail the
morning after all three have started, and then another one the morning the
first set is closing, and another one the morning the second set is closing,
and another one on the morning the third set is closing (four total per week).

My question to bidders is, am I sending too many "reminder e-mails" or
not enough? I see other sellers send daily updates (sometimes more than one a
day) and I wonder if I am missing a valuable marketing opportunity. Or, would I
be alienating some of you by e-mailing so often.

So should I up the number of FA e-mails I send from 4 per week, or lower
the number, or leave it the same.

I promise to abide by the popular opinion of actual bidders!

      Bruce
