It used to be owned by Hoyts and it was my job to programme it for 5 years
along with all the other Hoyts screens. *sniff* - very sad. It was the home
of the Brisbane Film Festival which often outshone the SFF for innovative
programming (not mine, the BFF was a separate entity that four-walled the
house).
Beautiful cinema.
