does anyone know the reasoning why hitchcock chose Canada as the setting
for I CONFESS ?
(truly a great, great movie in hitchcock's obsession of the subject of
accusing the wrong person. probably 80% of hitchcock's films have this issue
as the main theme or as a collateral theme. this, too, is always a great
subject when talking about hitch.)
