The world's foremost authority who's turned Beatles signatures into a forensic science is Frank Caiazzo of Wyckoff, NJ. He's getting up there in years and after he's gone, there will be no one better to spot the real vs. the bogus. He's used by auction houses, corporations, museums, etc. His website is here and he no longer does authentications for collectors. However, I've heard that authentications of genuine autographs cost between $500-650/each:
