yep, i hadn't seen the Odd Man Out quad before and it IS nice, but for such a
large selection it's a struggle to get too excited, huh?

Nice Odd Man Out quad, can't recall seeing one before.
And the Peeping Tom DC is looking far better these days since the quad became
wrapping paper.

No surprises with the Chelsea Girls description then.
Grubby bunch of hoorays.

i have no dog in this race, but in the absence of Christies London doing even
the bare minimum to publicise their forthcoming June movie poster sale, here is
the link to their auction brochure:
http://christies.scene7.com/s7/brochure/flash_brochure.jsp?company=Christies&sku=6356_SaleCat&config=Christies/eCat_248x330_TOC&locale=en&wb=000000
possibly this is of interest to some, but aside from the Peeping Tom Advance
and the Man With The White Suit quad, I personally find this all very meh; full
of the usual suspects that crop up ad infinitum and at much higher prices than
you would usually expect to pay.
on a happier note, a very good film history series has just started on the BBC
called "Paul Merton's Birth Of Hollywood" which I'm sure savvy MOPOers can
download.  Carla (niece of Carl) Laemmle was featured in ep 1 looking and
sounding like she's in late middle-age, rather than the 101 year old actress
who delivered the first lines of dialogue in Dracula (1931 natch).
hope you all have great weekends!
