I wish she would have sold these items earlier or someone who had the cash would have stepped up and bought this collection. Its sad it is being broken up. a poor marketing plan there. the poor lady struggled all her life to collect these and is too old to enjoy the money now. Martin

My theory -- and mind you that this is just a theory.

1) These costumes were worn by the biggest stars in Hollywood.

2) Undoubtedly some skin cells sloughed off the wearers and are embedded in the
material.

3) Everyone on the planet has seen "Jurrasic Park".

it obviously follows that:

Some billionaire has developed technology to clone dead movie stars and is
planning a theme park.

And I would not be surprised if Jeff Goldblum was somehow involved.

here's what I wonder about this auction, the collection, bidders and
Hollywood archiving it's history:

if so many people were willing to bid up to such heights for some of
the contents, why couldn't someone buy & exhibit this wonderful collection?

you know that many Hollywood big wigs had to have been bidding and
the $23million in sales (was that b4 or after BP?) by itself may have
almost bought the entire collection (yes folks.. there is more)
