this is what should happen:
 
1.  amex will immed put matter in dispute....you will get  credit.
 
2.  amex will advise paypal of fraud.
 
3.  seller will have his paypal acct frozen.
 
4.  seller has no cash in his acct, so paypal suffers the loss
 
5.  the idiot at paypal and his supervisors will be pissed because  they 
were so stupid.
 
6.  you will smile
