hi Mopo Folks as you all know my son makes films and makes props
like ray guns.. well he grew up on all the 80s films and thats what
we did as father son things is see movies then go toy hunting at toys
R us.. trying to get the elusive toys... well one of our faves was
GHOSTBUSTERS... and in 80s i made a real ambulance of the ecto one
from a 1966 caddie the original was a 59 caddie
well a friend peter Mosen who worked at Starlog magazinein new York
wanted the car to do promotions in new YORK so i sold it to him and
he then used it and also got a 59 he did just like the original ecto
1.. he then moved to LA and was actually in Ghostbusters two ina
scene with Michale Ostins wife (CAA agentand got us a signed one
sheet by the whole Ghostbusters cast.. then Colmbia granted is a
lisence and we made Ghostbuster 2 movie reel clocks... Pete sold my
ambulance the 1966 to Kenner toys and it ennded im told in Soth
America as a promotion vehicle for Kenner... so anyways Tommy loved
Ghostbusters.. matter of fact we areseeing IT tonight on Big screen
in Toledo at a showing what a wonderful father son event as it was
1984 when it came out Tommy was born in 86when we visited peter in La
in 89-90 he drove Tommy around hollywood in the ecto 1 59 caddie..
Imagine how big that little boys eyes got !!!
and here we are.. well heres the funny part.. he made a prop of the
backpack proton they ware in the film and he just listed it... its
already at 200.00
the 1st day... and i thought these peopel have no idea what passion
this kid has for the movie... so i think its so cool..
