As soon as I see an auction on eBay has a reserve, I automatically don't bid on it. Sellers should either list the item at a set price or do it auction-style with no reserve. With the caveat that sellers can do whatever they want and I have no interest in pointing to anyone in particular, it seems really churlish to list posters at let's say $25 for an opening bid to create bidding interest and frenzy...and bids are placed at 20, 30 times or more the opening bid, only to have the reserve unmet.
