Grey,
That 3 Little Beers is a wonderful poster because of the large portraits of the
boys.  And from one of the '30's movies to boot.

Right now Ebay has a number of the Stooges posters from the '40's-'50's for
sale.  Prices range from $35,000.00 to $2100.
I'm sure Emovieposter and Heritage have solid figures as far as what the
Stooges posters really sell for these days.

From what I've found most of the Stooges posters from the '50's back are hard
to find.  With a few exceptions.  Some titles from the '50's I see over and
over again for sale, and other posters from that time period I hardly ever see
on the auction block.

John,
I agree that there’s still a strong fan base for anything Stooges related.
But the later material for the Stooge’s shorts is much more common than the
earlier material and thus the Curly shorts much more actively sought!
Heritage has sold some exceptional pieces for exceptional prices of late.
Not only one sheets and cards as in the case of the “Three Little Beers” sold
in November but also in black and white still photos  for the Curly shorts,
going for $300-500 per!
I agree that the Shemp shorts are very funny, but let’s face it; the Stooges
were not at their peak without the bald-headed one!

Now that the auction is over I'll put in my 2 cents. I've collected Stooges
posters for years, and I've never cared for this 3D poster.
I can't afford the Curly posters, but there are many of the Shemp posters I
really like.  There are also a few that I wouldn't pay much for, and this was
one of them.
The Stooges fan base is getting older.  But I would say most people, young and
old know who they are.  The same can't be said for all old stars.  I had a 19
year old kid tell me he'd never heard of Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi.  But he
knew who the 3 Stooges were.  And being a red blooded American male, he liked
them.

And don't forget there is a new Stooges movie coming out soon.  So they are
long from being forgotten.

ended at only $360!!

Stooges posters from the post-Curly period have deteriorated so bad it makes me
want to get rid of what I have in my own collection.

Heck.. at $360, I probably should have bid on that poster myself

unbelievable
