The last Christies' auctions have been incredibly prosaic. There were a couple
of interesting things that accidentally got into their last catalogue, but next
time I'm sure we'll be seeing multiple Great Escapes, Italian Jobs and
*drumroll* another Peeping Tom quad along with all the other usual suspects.
Their core business has become really white bread stuff.
There is far more interest to be had in the weekly Bruce & Heritage auctions.

Some news to impart.
Christies in Chelsea are putting up their reserve prices now to a minimum of
£800 per lot. Their next sale will honour all the lower priced items that they
have and some will forward over to November however, they wish to go back to
exclusive sales with super lots.
Watch this space.
