we happen to be sorting a couple thousand half sheets I have over
here and one of my elves came up with an interesting factoid.
she got to half sheets for Androceles and the Lion (1952) and she
announced "3 different posters for this title)
I said it was probably an original A&B styles and a re-issue, but I
went over & looked and sure enough, it was 3 different posters for
the original release, 2 marked B and 1 marked A, then we moved
another poster on the stack and I saw that there was also another A style!!
I looked at the credits and compared them to all four posters and I
can see no differences in any credits issue that would necessitate a
reprint and the art is different on all four posters. also, the art
isn't updated on any set of A&B for a different or new campaign.
we're only sorting right now & have no room, but I plan on shooting
the four & setting up a page for everyone to view
does anyone know of any similar situation of multiple half sheet
styles beyond 2?
