Yes indeed. Many sellers rely totally on eBay for their living. It would be 
devastating for them if they were banned but setting up an alternative business 
outside of ebay takes a lot of time and effort and I wonder how some people 
would cope.

  There is a really good seller near me in Springfield Missouri who sells lots 
of toys on eBay. This just happened to him. No warning, no explanation, no 
appeal.


  However, very fortunately for him, he took my advice a few years ago and 
diversified onto his own site and as an Amazon seller, and he will survive just 
fine.


  But there are LOTS of other eBay sellers (no doubt some of movie poster 
sellers) who have all or almost all of their business based entirely on selling 
on eBay, and I strongly urge them to do all they can to switch their business 
model, because I am 100% convinced that eBay's goal is to have a business where 
they just manage a few thousand mega-sellers, because then they will be able to 
fire 90% of their staff, and make more money.
