I think this auction is incredibly sad and I don't understand why more
collectors don't feel the same.
This collection will probably end up in the hands on an investor who will bury
it in a vault never to be seen again. Or at least for decades to come.
This collection should have been sold individually, so collectors could have
had a chance to own some of this history.
I understand breaking this collection up would have its negatives. But the
possibility of this collection ending up in a locked safe is far worse.
This collection was built by a collector and should have been sold to
collectors. Not to some rich banker, or investment entity. I feel the choice to
sell this auction as a whole has done an incredible disservice to us all.
