whats funny is I remeber when dorothys shoes sold for 20K and peopel thought was a lot then 100K... The cowardly lion was actually fouund in the trash for pickup/in La... they had it on display at the museum of the moving Image and the casablanca pianos been sold several times/// I remeber selling a suta of Armor to Michael elsenberg back in late 80s that came from the MGM auction of 1970 It had he helment .. was metal so was screen used probably and had a swoed . sheath and Brestplate.. many of the MGM props went to restraunts as decor...th armor was made in Italy and used in many biblical films and sword and sandals as rentals.. I know a guy that owns many props and relics but it looks like Goodwill junk because he never put labels on where it came from... it drove me wild when I saw it... ohhh whats that from??? Casablance the scene where so and so did that... One year I had the opportunity to buy the couch from Gone with the wind,,,- 600.00 but by the tie I called back it was sold it was in a hotel in Findly Ohio... I called herb Bridges and he sadiyes I want it asI though who would want a old couch.. well now maybe it would bring a million...Ted turner loves the film.. and they had a big collection also as well as Herb Bridges.. he even had minitures,,, you can see in his book scarlet fever,,, I found Herb some Cool GWTW stuff like a store display for GWTW nail polish from lke 39-40s.;;; I had a customer that was so into wizard ofOz he had his body tattoed with Oz... yes flying monkeys where flying out his butt... also he looked like Burt Lahr... each year he would attend a Oz fest in I think indiana the peopel I have met in this crazy biz,,, no wonder I am so normal,,:)

I like the scenario.

Ideally there would be someone dressed up in the Cowardly Man costume to serenade.

Or the Flying Monkey cape that came up after it.

You could sit down at the Casablanca piano in Dorothy’s dress and play THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY.

If I'd paid 2.6 million for the Cowardly Lion costume, there's no way I could avoid secretly trying it on at home.
And the same goes for Dorothy's dress.

Other than that, can't see the appeal of the costume side of things.
