there is a great book and dvd on Jery Weintraub who promoted the big
huge Elvis shows...he was a smal booking agent from the bronx and col
parker said ok you can have my Boy for one million...Jerry didnt have
it,,but said ok..thenhe gota investor to fronthimethe million...they all
did well and whenhe went in the back room after the shows .Parker had a
large amountof money on the table.....he took his cane or stick and said
heres yours and here s ours..it was the sale of Merch sales..and jerry
didnt expecta cut ofthe sales..Parker said well if we are going in this
together ill treat you fair..
the best deals are ones where everyone wins because noone takes the
stuff with them ina uhaul whenwe are done..
Elvis seemed like a square shooter andi heard he would help manypeple
notbecause he had to butwanted to..he also had much faith and yet also
had a wild side..his people seemed loyal and with him forthe long
haul..the memphis mafia..
he seemed to love his mom alot and his daughter Lisa marie
so many cool stories on elvis..i once had a still he signed when he was
in Toledo and a gaurd had got it from the waldorf hotel..my friend owned
the telephone switchboard they used to have one of the old school like
Lily Thomlin had...
