I am with Ira here. Wow. Was I surprised when the I showed up 10 minutes
late for the auction to find that the 15 or so items that I was watching
were closed!
On the good side, it saved me a bunch of time (and money).

The bidding extends on each item for a full ten minutes.
Assuredly that would allow you to bid further if outbid on lots of
interest.
