A good number of lobby cards in my collection came from Gene's dealer table at Cinevent. Every year, as soon as I entered the dealer's room, I made a beeline straight to his table. Over the years I picked up many "A" title cards at bargain prices from Gene, and always enjoyed chatting with him while I browsed through his many well-organized boxes.
So sad to know he's gone. He was one of the best. We had more than a few lunches together at Cinevent and he always had a great smile. Definitely will be missed Rest in Peace my friend Visit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: lists...@listserv.american.edu In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
