Another February 24th arrives and MoPo is another year older. As each year passes, I’m always grateful (and admittedly a tad bit surprised) that this little group continues to chug along. One year ago today, as we celebrated MoPo’s Silver Anniversary, who could have imagined what was ahead and how awful 2020 would turn out to be. I don’t know about all of you, but I think I aged 5 years over the last 365 days. 26 years ago today the first MoPo message was sent via American University’s listserv to 11 subscribers. As is my tradition, hats off to those originals: Mahtab Moayeri, Michael Danese, Rob Ellis, Donna Tschetter, Goh Kai Shen, Evan Zweifel, George Nichol, Jeff Static (using AOL name Static555), Cindy Nemeth-Johannes, Adam Ehrlich, and myself.
