I have been in collectibles for 534 years (and a full-time movie
poster auctioneer for 33 of those years) and I have NEVER seen an
offering of horror/sci-fi/fantasy movie paper remotely close to this
in ANY auction in ALL those years!
616 one-sheets, 470 lobby cards (singles and sets), 93 half-sheets, 71
inserts, 27 3-sheets, 9 6-sheets, 15 window cards, 19 British quads,
43 Australian, 91 Japanese, and on and on and on!
There are so many VERY desirable titles included, covering all years,
and the only common denominator is that they are all
horror/sci-fi/fantasy, far and away the most collected genre!
Best of all, this is a completely "level playing field", where the
high bidder gets every item, no matter how low the final selling
price, and NO last second "sniping" (as seen on eBay) or outrageous
"buyers premiums" (now with a $29 minimum).
Think I am exaggerating about the large quantity of current low, low
prices? Right now, with just 8 HOURS left (as of this writing), there
are somehow 419 items at $1 to $20, and792 at just $35 or under!
And a high percentage of the over 1,000 items over just $35 each are
WELL under where the same or similar items have sold for in the past,
at every price level, even most of the most expensive ones!
