I won a much coveted lobby card from MPE last year. It took a couple of months to end up in my hands.. Jason was very contrite and apologetic (is that a redundancy?) and got himself into one of those situations where the longer he procrastinated, the more depressed he got about...procrastinating. He's in over his head. I'm not sure why he ended up with the business but it's a sad situation. I had a great relationship with the original owner (his name escapes me: I'm 73 and the nouns & pronouns go first) so it's sad that I'm loathe to bid on these auctions. I've had issues with depression in the past but I always took care of business.
I was empathetic with Jason for awhile but I mentioned that poster collecting is a close-knit group of people who love their pieces of old paper dearly and tales about dealer transgressions get around very quickly.
This thread is Exhibit A. I hope Jason gets his s**t together or MPE will be toast.
