really, I'm not entirely certain what Sony's endgame is here,
considering that theatre seats aren't selling as well as they were
pre-pandemic and the subscription model is kicking ass
are they going to use it as a test market for more expensive seating & a
different theatre experience as Spielberg, Lucas, Scorcese & Coppola
have described?
Use it as a film premiere venue & experience?
Is it a harbinger of theatre chains being taken over by the film
producers, to cut down competition & drive local theatre owners out of
business?
