Diana & Fellow Focii,

I'm willing to moderate a separate "slow reading list".*

After David Buchanon's most recent post expressing disappointment with this month's
attempt at slow reading, I'm a bit hesitant to offer this, but I've decided to put it
to the group as a whole anyway. I'd moderate only under the following conditions:

(1) There's adequate interest

I think we'd need an absolute minimum of 10 people to commit to join and participate
in the new mailing list.

(2) We do a chapter/week

Or some similar system that really grounds us to a particular spot in the text.

(3) We adopt some ground rules

I'd want to carry over all of the rules from MOQ_Focus, with the "program topic" being
the current chapter in the slow reading list. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

If we're going to do this, I'd prefer to start over from Chapter 1 on the new list,
but I realize that most people probably don't want to rehash what we've done this
month. In any case, please respond with your thoughts on whether to proceed with slow
reading or let it die a natural death at the end of this month. I have no interest one
way or the other, but I'm willing to do this if there's enough enthusiasm within the
group. Please give honest feedback so we can decide what to do.

Cheers,
Keith
