Note that the site:
http://life.bio.sunysb.edu/morph/books/gmbooks.html
gives a list of books related to geometric morphometrics along with
citations and sometimes links to reviews to help readers select which
books to read first. The list of reviews may be a bit out of date - I
depend upon people sending me notices when the publish a review.

Subject: Morphometrics Library
The just-posted message about the "Virtual Reconstruction"
has prompted me to reorganize the Library site at
www.morphometrics.org. I have added sections on "BOOKS"
(seems appropriate for a library) and "PUBLICATIONS"
to the existing "ONLINE REPRINTS" section. Brief descriptions follow:
BOOKS: list of books of relevance to morphometrics. These are
posted as links to amazon.com, through which any purchases
support the site. I have chosen a very few books, and will
add others if contacted by interested parties. That is, I am
not going to try to build a comprehensive library of links,
myself, but will respond to requests for adding books to the list.
Currently there are 1) the Orange Book, 2) "Modern
Morphometrics in Physical Anthropology", 3) Zelditch et al.'s
"Geometric Morphometrics for Biologists", and 4) the "Virtual
Reconstruction" book. Order is alphabetical by author or
editor. Amazon links are nice, but not required.
PUBLICATIONS: this was originally in the "Announcements" page
(where it had no contributions). This is just for references
to new publications in morphometrics that morphmet members
might be interested in.
ONLINE REPRINTS: this section is for links to online .pdf
versions of papers made available by an author or publisher.
Anyway, stop by and check it out at:
