Hi, A good book for beginners - directed towards undergrads. is "Geometric morphometrics for biologists" (2004) Miriam Zelditch et al. You can easily get used copies online.
For internet resources, I would recommend the stony brook website for morphometrics. That has fantastic resources and people that you can approach (eg. Jim Rolph) if you have questions. But if your purposes are not biological, I would suggest going to sites for engineers - again the StonyBrook website might have some suggestions.
