Hi Jeff,

Paleo-tech (http://paleo-tech.com/index.cfm) sells some of the best
electronic calipers around. They can also custom-build but that will
take longer. These calipers use USB (PnP) connection and have two
buttons (one on the caliper and one between the USB cable) that you can
press to input data into, say, Excel. You can also purchase a foot
paddle (extra), which may or may not make your life easier...

Subject: Connecting electronic calipers to PC or MAC

Dear morphmetters:
I wonder if anyone has had recent experience connecting a pair of
electronic calipers to a Windows laptop or to an OS X mac. Is there new
software or are electronic connectors such as those sold by the late Les
Marcus compatible with these new machines? Thanks in advance for any help.
