When you save the tps file in tpsDig there is an option "include image path"
to insert the full path to each image file. If you use just the image name
then the images must be in the same directory as the tps file. If you use
the full path then the tps file can be moved around but the images must stay
in the original directory. In tpsDig make sure that option is not checked
when you save the file. The option was added because some users wished to
keep all of the images on a CD but have the tps file on their hard disk.

Note that tps files are just plain ascii files so you can bring them up in
an editor such as Windows notepad (or some better editor such as Notepad++)
and do a global search and replace to get rid of the full paths.

Hi All,

We digitize images on multiple machines and would like to review/add
landmarks to appended and translocated tps files. However, when
opening the files with tpsdig, I get an error message that says
"system cannot find specified path" even though the images have been
moved with the tps files. Does anyone know of a way to modify the
image path in tpsdig? Thanks in advance for the advice.

Cheers,
Corey
