-------- Original Message -------- Subject: Small Mammal Landmarks Date: Wed, 9 Sep 2009 07:48:28 -0700 (PDT) From: Katherina Searing <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Hello. I am interested in applying geometric morphometrics to three Orders of small mammals (Rodentia, Lagomorpha and Soricomorpha). I am having difficulty in locating an adequate number of homologous landmarks for species in these three Orders. I am aware of Lee Marcus et al. 2000 paper: Application of Landmark Morphometrics to Skulls Representing the Orders of Living Mammals. Are there any other resources that you are familiar with that may help? Even geometric morphometric studies on one species of Rodent, Lagomorph and Soricomorph may be helpful. Thank you- Cheers, Katherina Bendz Searing Doctoral Candidate Environmental and Forest Biology State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry 243 Illick Hall Syracuse, NY 13210 -- Replies will be sent to the list.
