GoMeasure3D provides Inspection and Reverse Engineering Solution to
another manufacturing customer!
The customer presented us with a need to measure products during the
manufacturing process and feed data back to the engineering group for
comparison to CAD files. In addition the customer has an occasional need
for reverse engineering of parts.
Some of the application challenges were:
5" cavities in manufactured parts
Ability to measure as many as 75 parts per day
Temperature variations within plant
After evaluation of the application GoMeasure3D recommended the M200
Baces3D portable CMM. This arm has a reach of 8.5' and is accurate to
.0024" with repeatability of .0014. This lightweight arm has an
ergonomic probe handle with an elongated probe allowing users to reach
into small cavities for measurement. Prolonged or constant use is not a
problem, as the Baces3D arm is counterbalanced to prevent user fatigue.
In addition to the Baces3D, GoMeasure3D matched the customer with a
software package that will provide them with both metrology reporting
and reverse engineering capabilities, the ability to use the same
software package for all applicationS is important to the customer, as
this eases the training burden and keeps all files in one format.
GoMeasure3D also included a MicroScribe G2X for the customer to use for
smaller reverse engineering projects. Upon completion of the customized,
application specific training, this customer is up and running for a
total cost of less than $50,000.

*GoMeasure3D Adds 10 New Reverse Engineering Customers Last Month*
GoMeasure3D added 10 new reverse engineering customers in July,
confirming to the industry that the MicroScribe is certainly the most
affordable and versatile reverse engineering tool available, and that
our nation's economy is stabilizing.
GoMeasure3D and its team of resellers were contacted by new customer in
the automotive industry needing to reverse engineer parts for electric
cars. This customer was a Catia user, and we had just the solution for
them! GoMeasure3D recommended the MicroScribe MX, with an accuracy of
.002" and a seat of Rhino 4.0. The customer received their equipment
approximately 4 days later, after installing all components spent about
45 minutes on the phone with a GoMeasure3D trainer, and has been up and
running ever since! They are able to digitize and create models using
the Rhino software and pull the files into Catia to complete their
project needs.
Another customer contacted us needing the ability to digitize antique
firearms. This gentleman travels worldwide visiting museums to create
CAD models of firearms. The fact that he was a current SolidWorks user
made this an easy match. GoMeasure3D recommended a MicroScribe MX and
RevWorks for SolidWorks. Using these tools, the customer is able to
create his CAD models directly into SolidWorks with no extra steps.
GoMeasure3D was also able to match this customer up with a leasing
company to assist with financing, and within 10 days he had received his
equipment, a few hours of web based training and was boarding a plane
for Europe with his new MicroScribe packed securely in his travel case.

These were just a few examples of the soutions provided by GoMeasure3D
and our network of resellers. In addition to reverse engineering
customer we have also added customer for a variety of other applications.
Laser Scanning and tactile digitizing for the purpose of reverse
