A group of us, lead by researchers in our "Magnet Lab" (http://www.magnet.fsu.edu/), just got one of these:

About 50k USD. Haven't seen results, yet.

Dear morphometricians,

I hope some of you could give advise on a 3d scanner scanner that has a
versatile scope, which would allow to work with entire fish specimens
and parts thereof, e.g the size of teeth or even smaller.
If you have any suggestion on homepages of companies with information on
such 3d scanners or papers , this would be much appreciated.

Thanks Oliver Selz
