Dear morphometricians,
I would like to suggest a reference to those interested in a broad view on
what epigenetics is really about:
Günter P. Wagner, 2012. Epigenetics in all its beauty. Trends in Ecology &
Evolution, Volume 27, Issue 2, 70-71
http://www.cell.com/trends/ecology-evolution/fulltext/S0169-5347%2811%290026
3-1

This is something I discussed informally with quite a few people who are on
the list, who also seemed unhappy about the (mis)use of the term by
geneticists, and it is a word that often appears in the morphometric
literature.
I liked this short review a lot, and hope that other morphometricians will
find it useful. No doubts the book too is most interesting.

All the best

Andrea
