Subject: MorphoJ and Assymetry
To:
[email protected]
I'm
new in the field of geometric
morphometrics and I'm still in
its infancy. I've used the MorphoJ for
analysis of sexual dimorphism of crabs and swimming crabs satisfactorily.
Now I'm conducting an
analysis of asymmetry in a
semi-terrestrial crab in three locations with different anthropic levels.
The idea is to apply the concept of fluctuating asymmetry
(well documented by Palmer & Strobeck 1986). I followed the manual MorphoJ proposed for the analysis of asymmetric objects, but am not
having clear results. Probably
I'm not entering the initial
data correctly...
Can anyone give me a
direction how to proceed fluctuating asymmetry analysis
in MorphoJ? Anyone ever had experience with this particular case?
Thank you for your attention
with this beginner!
Hugs
