Subject: partitioned centroid size
To: Morphmet

Hello everydoby,

I am interested in conducting an ontogenetic study with geometric morphometrics. For that reason I'm reading different papers about it. One of the articles talks about working with different data sets of which the centroid size has been partitioned. I don't know what does mean. The article also talks about obtaining the centroid size from each specimen of the sample, like a previous step to performing a GPA, to study size/shape relationships. I do not really understand these two points. If someone could help me to clarify this issue I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance
Débora
