Dear Wendy,

this might not be a problem at all, depending on what software you are planning to use for the Procrustes fit and further analysis. If you decide to use MorphoJ (http://www.flywings.org.uk/morphoj_page.htm), you can just digitize your images as they are (just take care of the correct numbering/digitizing sequence of landmarks) and import the .tps or .txt file. In the superimposition step, the left and right facing specimens will be reflected automatically (compare the User's Guide here: http://www.flywings.org.uk/MorphoJ_guide/frameset.htm?preliminaries/newProc.htm)
Hope this might be of some help.

Best wishes,
Ruth

Hi,

I have some specimens photographed facing left and other facing right.
What can I do to to fix this in Coordgen so that I can compare them to
one another?

Regards,

Wendy den Boer
