I have a G2
with 6 DOF. I suppose the 5DOF would be OK, but I do suggest the
G2.

Subject: microscribe with 5 or 6 DOF?
To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]>Hello everyone,I was hoping that someone could advise me whether a microscribe with 5 or 6 DOF is required for 3D data collection from skull specimens for a morphometric study. Also, would you recommend investing into a G2X model rather then purchasing a 3DX model? On the subject of the software, does anybody know if the microscribe utility software is sufficient for data acquisition or whether a different software is superior. Which one is most commonly used?Thank you very much in advance!bye,Friederike
