Subject: Multivariate phylogenetic
signal analysis
To: "[email protected]"
<[email protected]>
Hi!
I am
studying the vertebral column of dolphins, focusing on the morphological
variation of vertebrae. I have a set of variables that represent form change. I
am looking for a test that allows me to calculate phylogenetic signal in a
multivariate form, i.e. a phylogenetic signal for the whole set of variables.
Some colleagues have recommended me Blomberg’s K (Blomberg et al. 2003)
and orthonormal decomposition (Ollier et al. 2006), but as far as I know,
they
are univariate analysis. Can anyone recommend me such analysis? Thank you in
advance!
