I did a PLS analysis of shape X environmental variables, and I wanted to calculate the percent contribution of each environmental variable to the covariation explained by the first axis (first latent variable). How do I calculate this? Can I calculate it from the loadings of the environmental variables?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
